Salt & Straw is one of my favorite ice cream companies, so I was extra excited when they approached me to photograph & share their Camp Salt & Straw flavor series. First, we discussed each of the new flavors in depth (Salted Hazelnut Praline S’Mores, Buttermilk Pancakes Bacon & Eggs, and Huckleberry Cast Iron Cornbread, so that I could understand the feelings that the images should convey. From there, I wrote out ideas and drew sketches for how each flavor would be represented. The final images were used on @erinoutdoors and @saltandstraw social media channels, as well as in-store at Salt & Straw locations.
